The CC1 Printer was delivered on time
The Centauri Carbon Printer was delivered on time. However during the first self test the extruder fan started making a terrible noise. For a Printer that Elegoo claims "Prints right out of the box" this is just not good enough in todays 3D printing world where people want to print not tinker. Currently having to jump through hoops as the support team try to diagnose the problems. The CC1 also makes weird noises relating to Z axis movement. All this leads Me to believe that their products are not as refined as they should be and contain some questionable design choices. Clearly built down to a price. The CC1 CANVAS colour changing unit is pre-order and not shipping until October. Update: Printer returned. It's not too late for Elegoo rescue this situation and i will update and amend the rating of this review. BTW I am no newbie to 3D printers and printing, but i returned the printer to Elegoo as a point of principle.
