Vodien Internet Solutions Pte Ltd

Most frustrating experience

We joined Vodien in July 2025 after a distressing experience with their related company, Crazy Domains. We had used Crazy Domains for over ten years to host our multiple websites and email accounts. After their email server failed for our busy business, a Crazy Domains representative recommended we move to Microsoft 365 for email. I agreed, and Vodien took over the account, with us signing a one-year contract. We later discovered Vodien is an authorised Microsoft reseller, and their pricing was considerably higher than buying directly from Microsoft. The problems began with small issues: some system-generated emails were not arriving at our new Microsoft 365 accounts. Because Vodien controlled the admin side of the account, we could not set up email forwarding or auto-replies ourselves — everything had to go through them by phone or email, and the service was very poor. Eventually I insisted they hand the admin role over to me so we could investigate. They did, but then advised they would no longer provide any technical support. That was acceptable to me — until I discovered we still could not add new staff email accounts without going through Vodien, as the licences remained under their control as reseller. They refused all technical assistance. On Microsoft's advice, we had to purchase our own Microsoft 365 account. Vodien refused to help migrate our email data. In February 2026, halfway through our licence period, we notified Vodien to cancel our account, ending our relationship. We were told the remaining licence fee would be refunded. It was not. A few days ago, they took a couple of thousand dollars from our PayPal account for an "auto-renewal", despite our account having been cancelled in February 2026. A Vodien salesperson then rang to ask whether we would renew. Of course I said no. They have still not responded to our refund request. In my experience, Crazy Domains and Vodien offer the worst customer support I have dealt with, and their business practices fall well short of what is acceptable in Australia. I would strongly advise against buying anything from them. *********************************************** After the above review went to public, the company contacted me with very apologetic attitude. They do. They sound kind and polite but they mislead. Then they emailed me below missing the points (i.e. taking money on cancelled account; auto-renew was turned off last year; no invoice was delivered to us etc.) and refusing the refund. ****************************************** Dear Ben, Good day! I hope this email finds you well. My name is Cathy, and I am one of the Online Experience Specialists. I am reaching out to follow up regarding the Trustpilot review you recently shared concerning your account and cancellation request. We would like to assist you further and ensure that your concerns are properly reviewed and addressed. After reviewing your case with our Higher Management Team, we confirmed that Invoice 62733947 was renewed on July 25, 2026. We understand that you are requesting a refund and that your initial cancellation request was related to disabling the Auto-Renewal setting on your account (M12351247). We acknowledge that your previous tickets (E-475693 and OEML-3147633) were closed last February 2026, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We would also like to set the proper expectation that the Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription is a non-refundable third-party product, in accordance with Vodien’s Terms of Service. However, we have referred your request for further review with our Higher Management Team, and as a one-time goodwill gesture, your request has been approved for an alternative resolution. We can offer a Member Credit to your Vodien account equivalent to the eligible amount. Please note that Member Credit is an account credit applied to your Vodien account, which can be used to offset future eligible invoices or service purchases. It is not a direct cash refund. This offer is provided as a one-time goodwill gesture and does not constitute an admission of liability on the part of Vodien or its affiliates. Please let us know if you would like to accept this resolution so we can proceed with processing the Member Credit for your account. If you do not wish to proceed with this option, kindly confirm your decision so we can update our records accordingly and proceed with the refund back to PayPal. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We appreciate the opportunity to review your concerns and work towards a suitable resolution. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at +1300 210 210 or via our 24/7 live chat support. Kind Regards,
