I purchased two WAVLINK outdoor LTE routers over a year ago, and it was a complete waste of money. The product was advertised as a high-performance outdoor 4G/5G router, but in reality: There is no 5G support – just misleading Wi-Fi “5GHz” marketing. The 4G LTE modem is low-end CAT4, extremely slow and unstable. The antennas are weak, and signal reception is poor even near a cell tower. Wi-Fi range is mediocre, and speeds are far below expectations. Not suitable for rural use or remote areas, despite being advertised as such. I paid around 200 EUR for two units, and they both perform worse than a 30 EUR USB modem. The product looks professional on the outside, but it’s cheap plastic inside with outdated technology. This is misleading advertising. WAVLINK sells junk with fancy words and empty promises. ❗ Avoid this brand at all costs if you’re looking for reliable LTE or 5G connectivity. Total scam.
