They got it right. There's just no reason to go anywhere else!!
Initially, I purchased flooring that I loved and felt the price was great. I asked the worker if there was anything additional I needed to do, because I wanted to assure to receive the flooring chosen with the great price. I asked to leave the installer's name that was to pick up the flooring, and was told that would not be necessary, that all he needed was my name. When my installer went to pick up the flooring I carefully chose, he was given the wrong flooring. He laid the flooring as instructed. When I came home, excited to see my new floor, it was an entirely different floor. Sadly, the same installer wanted to charge me an additional fee to remove and install the correct floor. I went back to Home Depot to share my dilemma, and was arrogantly and casually told by the same person who wrote the initial order, 'Just bring it back, we will exchange it. I expressed the cost awaiting as a result of his mistake, and he passively dismissed my concern, until I asked for a manager. The store manager eventually came back to tell me, there was nothing more they could do for me. I contacted corporate and was treated with the utmost respect and resolve happened. A different manager from the same store called, and assured they would make things right. He was professional, courteous, and fair. End result, Home Depot made things right. The correct floor was installed far better than the existing. The installers even added additional items needed to complete the job accurately, at zero additional cost to me. Although, my initial issue seemed far from resolve, Home Depot stood by the amazing reputation they always held with me prior to this past incident. Thanks H.D. for making things right. I still say, 'There's no reason to go anywhere else!
