Every single reel of filament has damaged cardboard reels on the PLA plus I ordered. It prints great, but the reels were too damaged to place a ring around them so I had to respool them. I had heard that many reels are now plastic, but none if the 10 I purchased were. Start using plastic reels instead if cardboard for most filament
