Quality is job none @ Bendpak
I purchased a new Bendpak HD9 XW that was shipped to me. After opening it I found that both cross beams had pins for the guide blocks welded on at angles so they wouldn’t even come close to fitting. Obviously no QA / QC here. When I called to get them to send me new parts, they suggested that I HIT IT WITH A HAMMER UNTIL IT WAS WAS SORT OF STRAIGT. Like are you kidding me? What kind of company would even suggest that and then they refused to send me new parts. Calling it “shipping damage” when clearly they had welded it this way and painted it afterwards. Zero paint damage, just pristine paint and yet they try to call it shipping damage and suggested maybe even I had done it. Then I find the runway is also bent so badly it won’t bolt up. Again they say just bend it back. So this really isn’t ok with me. What a shame. Used to be top notch lifts and now the cheap made in China ones are better quality than they are. So disappointing.
