Finicky resin and disappointing sub boxs
I would watch YouTubers that bought from Sophie and Toffee, so when they started with the Disney collab I knew I had to have it. I managed to grab the Villians box right before the end of the month. It was amazing. Had my subscription from the Villians to The Nightmare before Christmas. I canceled after NBC because I was really unhappy with a few of the prior boxes and the amount we were getting vs prices. If you look at the difference between the Cinderella box and the Ariel box. The difference is absolutely baffling. I understand that a lot of it has to be approved by Disney but it feels so lackluster. Some boxes would have mica powders, and some wouldn't. It felt very noncomplete most the time. Another thing that has made me cancel the boxes is the finicky resin. The UV, the 1:1, 3:1. It's a real hit or miss. I had to buy a brand not S&T to use the molds because you'd never know if it was cured or sticky. A game of roulette you never want to play with chemicals. The censorship S&T has on their Facebook group is absolutely outrageous. You cannot have a different opinion other than "it's so wonderful." When I and others expressed our outrageous by getting huge projects with little resin, the mods came for the attack and really bit down on us being in the wrong. They (the mods) say it's not the official group, but S&T does. After that incident they decided to have "who is the most friendly" like compeitions where they would reward someone for boosting everyone up. The way they went about it was just uncouth. I no longer support S&T and really hope others really look at the quality they are getting.
