Cannot even open an account.
I have been attempting to open an account with SoundOn for weeks, using my passport as my ID. However, my application has been repeatedly rejected due to "invalid ID." I've submitted several different types of photos, including just the data page, the data page with the second page, and even a photo of me holding the passport, as they suggested. Customer support has been unhelpful, providing only canned responses that don't address my issue. They keep telling me to make sure my scan is in color and clear, which it is—I've scanned it at 600dpi. The most frustrating part was their final reply, where they stated that they don't accept passports and that I should use a different form of identification. I'm giving up on trying to open an account. If this is how difficult it is just to sign up, I can only imagine the problems I would face when trying to distribute my music.
