THIS WORKS!!!!!!
We took in a rescue coondog- underfed- but otherwise healthy. 10 months in he came down with an infection- 106 fevers/seizures/ tick tests negative- raccoon fever negative- they think snake? They hit him with everything to save him- all those antibiotics/steroids ruined his gut. Yeast began to show up- he chewed his tail up bloody 3x- wore a cone- we couldn't find any fixes- bathed him 2-3x a week letting it sit for 15 minutes- vets just wanted to give him apoquel, cytopoint, hydrolyzed food- or 7 supplements they determined would help him by putting the bottle in a pocket they placed on a blanket around him! Crazy!!!! I worked in pharmaceuticals- chemistry major- I KNEW these options would not hit the root. Tried Dog is Human- 5 months- no change. Found these and I agreed with the logic- made sense! Now- I have not slept more than 2 hours at a time to keep him from getting at any areas aggravating him- weary and he was miserable. When the package arrived- our dog was going crazy to get into it! Doubly sealed packaging- but a coon dog has keen smelling senses! We gave him his first dose last week and spread it out throughout the day. We are on day 8- I can leave the room and he isn't gnawing at his skin!!! He still will scratch maybe once every 1/2 hour- but not for more than 2-3 seconds- used to be you had to hold him to stop him. I can walk him 2-3 miles and not have him go for his tail anytime I stop to talk to someone- he is even playing again with our other dog!!! It has been a long 2 years- we moved states - so vets were the same in both- not hitting the cause- only treating symptoms- I feel his gut is truly being healed!!!
