I'm pretty disappointed with my purchases from moon magic. First, the "sterling silver crown jacket ring" that I ordered lost one of the baguette stones on only my third time wearing, but it was not eligible for return. Second, the beautiful "Spotlight" moonstone necklace, which has a herringbone chain and is designed to sit flat, literally never sits flat. The flat chain twists after I put it on, presumably because when it was attached to the stone it was twisted and not checked. Additionally, the clasp was attached upside-down, making it difficult to even put on. Then once I get it on, it doesn't lay flat. Doesn't matter what I do, or whether I try to twist it the other direction to counteract the natural twist in the chain--it flips up and twists. Third, both "moonstone" items that I received aren't actually moonstone. They were both white Labradorite, which is sometimes called "rainbow moonstone" for marketing purposes, but is fundamentally a different stone. If they'd referred to it as rainbow moonstone, then I would have known what I'm buying was not actual moonstone. I like white Labradorite, so it's fine, but I just think it's important to be accurate about what you're actually selling. On the bright side, the Purity "moonstone" (i.e. white Labradorite) ring that I ordered is pretty, and I wear it all the time. But I'm bummed that 2 items in my order broke right away or can't really be worn because it was constructed oddly. I'm going to try taking the necklace to a local jeweler and see if they can fix it. But I have no idea how costly it'll be :/. I might also try to repair the crown ring one day, but would need to find a replacement stone in the correct size, first. The earrings I ordered are fine. Smaller than I thought they'd be, and the stones are pretty dull. Too much hassle though. The jewelry should have been better made.
