Safeway has pushed me out the door!
Why have I reached my limit and now will find a new store to replace what I can buy at Safeway?
1) fraudulent and abusive motivations for discontinuing paper bags with handles
2) starting again to require my providing my DOB to buy alcoholic beverages as a senior
3) cutting staff back to inadequately staff registers and stock shelves
I don't need this frustration and waste of my time! I'll be shopping elsewhere for the items I typically buy there. I DO greatly appreciate most of the staff, who are with few exceptions Safeway's only glowing asset!

I couldn't recommend this under any circumstances
I'd ordered a Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake for my partner's birthday! Against our better judgement we decided to try ordering a cake to be shipped and chose Bake Me A Wish. But we both love dark chocolate and felt this sounded like something that we might enjoy. To start out it certainly wasn't "pretty" when we opened the box! Shipping was not kind to the visual appearance. We followed the instructions and left it sealed up to thaw. The texture of the torte/cake/mousse was granular and on the dry side. The chocolate flavor was -- to be diplomatic -- unusual and hard to pin down. Or to put it another way what flavor there was was not enjoyable. I guarantee you this was not made with high quality chocolate or any other ingredient! So, I'm not sure what customers bought to warrant such high ratings for this company; but it surely can't have been this cake! What an embarrassing waste of a lot of money and a huge birthday disappointment.
UPDATE:
I did reach out to this company on July 15 and have so far heard NOTHING. They have however spammed me with numerous promotional emails.
