Rented out my BMW 5 series
Rented out my BMW 5 series. The car came back with a transmission damage and deep scratches to the paintwork. The car is barely drivable with heavy damage to the transmission unit, which was working fine prior to renting it out. DriveLah blamed it on the transmission's age and told me to buff out the scratches in the paint with a polishing compound. I have to bear the costs of the repairs for the damages to the transmission and paintwork that were not made by me which costs way more than the amount I earned during the period of rental which was 7 days. Unless you want to pay thousands in repairs for damages made by another party to your car out of your own pocket, I suggest you steer clear from this platform.
