BE VERY CAREFUL before You pay
Unfortunately it seems my credit card company will have to get Involved to help getting my money back as Wondershare are refusing to refund me. I purchased a license for Recoverit to recover some videos from an SD card. The software found some data but all of it is corrupted and inaccessible therefore totally useless. Got in touch with the company to explain and to ask for a refund , they replied asking me for some more info and a screenshot which I sent. They did not send me refund , instead they told me that they offer a Video Recovery Software (for extra payment) and told me to use it. I am obviously skeptical to use it because I already paid for Recoverit and it didn't work , and I don't want to give them more money ( especially considering they make it really hard to refund). They are promising that if the Video Recovery Software does not work they'll refund me then , but it seems that all they want is to get more money , and I have zero faith that they will eventually refund it. Is not very reassuring that a company makes it so hard to refund £40 especially after I sent proof that the files are not accessible. Will wait for the 14 days to start the chargeback dispute with my card ; in the meantime be very careful before You pay anything to Wondershare because once they get your money they'll hold it like a dog with a bone and they won't let go.
