Had a horrible experience with Hop2
Had a horrible experience with Hop2. I was diverted to their website from skyscanner for booking. The quote I got was in CAD. however, they charged me the same figure in USD which was almost CAD 700 more than the agreed price. When I went back to them, they agreed to refund the amount in full. however, at the end of the day, I was hit with a CAD 142 fee b/c instead of declining my payment in the first place, they accepted it and paid me back with a new transfer, making me liable for the exchange rate difference and other applicable card fee. Not to mention those stressful 4 to 5 hours I spent on arguing with them to clean up this mess. Never going back
