SCAM! Negative stars!!
If I could give fareboom 0 or even negative stars I would. We booked a flight for our family that wasn’t cheap. We showed up to the airport and were told by the airline that our tickets were suspended and it was something on fareboom’s end. We contacted fareboom and they said they couldn’t unsuspend them because it was Sunday and we would have to call back tomorrow!?! How does that help when we had a flight in 2 hours. The person we spoke to said they would elevate the issue and call us back before the check in time expired, which never happened. We tried calling back and even used the emergency service option and we just kept getting hung up on. So we never made our flight and are hopefully not out the money we paid for a flight we missed on account of fareboom. The airline even suggested to fareboom to cancel and rebook because our seats were already saved. Fareboom never sent us any notice that our tickets were suspended and even emailed us two days prior reminding us to check in and provide passport information. Oh I forgot to mention they charged us twice and we’ve been disputing those for the past month. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is some kind of scam business. Do not book through fareboom unless you want to deal with headache after headache. The prices may be cheaper but it is definitely not worth it. Go directly through the airline.
