Poor manufacturing standards
I loved this device as a student but I ignored the red flags of people saying they would break too easily. I thought by using a cover and a case it would be fine. It cracked in my bag with a case and a laptop carrier for no reason whatsoever. I’m extremely careful and gentle with my bag. Over $400 to fix. Don’t assume it won’t happen to you. Unless you are prepared to pay that, avoid this company at all costs. Manufacturing standards terrible and poor customer service. A headache and expense you do not need. Get a Microsoft surface pro or remarkable instead.

Issues with first esim- resolved by customer service
My first SIM card was not effective and stopped working entirely in the middle of a work call, and it was not resolved for several hours. However, after several emails it was replaced and is now working well (will update at end of service as well).
1st esim: I was told that their records showed my data had been working or that I had used up my data for the day, which wasn’t the case as I’d only used 17mb in 10 days due to poor functioning.
I felt that more questions to find out out the issue could’ve been asked instead of insisting it as working. This would’ve helped shorten the resolution process and mitigate some frustration on my end as the loss of wifi was disruptive for me. On the other hand, I understand they probably get a lot of emails claiming it isn’t working when the customer has maybe installed it incorrectly, and there would be a tendency towards doubt, so I understand where they were coming from as well.
It left me in an unfortunate situation since I was relying on my travel data for work purposes and I had to cancel appointments at a considerable financial loss while I worked towards a resolution.
New esim: the company, since seeing my review, did send me a new esim which appears to be working well. Thank you for the replacement.
Pros: the company shows accountability and worked to correct the situation.
They were available for contact at a wide range of hours and responded to emails very quickly. This is super helpful in these situations and there are other companies that would be much harder to connect with.
Price is reasonable versus competitors.
Appears to be solid wifi (since 1 hour ago)
Cons: when you are traveling, you don’t want to worry about a sudden loss of internet, so I would advise to purchase ahead of time and test thoroughly before relying on this or be sure to have a backup. (Which is probably just generally good advice for an esim)
