Avoid Proform - Ifit - John Lewis
I bought a treadmill 4 months ago and from the get go it was giving small electric shocks when in use, its now stopped working and to be quite honest support for trying to have it repaired under my two year warranty is none existant. I bought it from john lewis thinking if i had any issues john lewis and there famous customer service would look after me well no, thats gone. John Lewis customer service has been outsourced to south africa where you are just left on hold indefinitely (beware if you buying any large items from john lewis going forward). I have contacted ifit for support informing them initially of the electric shocks then most recently to report the machine had stopped working, they actually responded both times asking me to try different footwear remedy the issue?, if i use hand cream it could affect the machine? how if its placed on a carpet it could suck in loads of fibres and dust causing it to overheat so it should be placed on a matt even though they market and sell it to the domestic home market without a matt included? Its exhausting my advice is simple dont buy any large items from john lewis the customer service ship has well and truly sailed (see trustpilot and others)and dont buy anything ProForm or anything with ifit labelled on it, they know there selling utter junk thats why there resonses are so ridiculous to start with so you'll just get fed up of contacting them too. (see trustpilot and others)
