It’s a con job. I was visited by a group of sales reps from Your Business Listing Pte Ltd (Singapore). My hair salon HAIR JOURNAL signed up a 3 month “place me first in google” project for a package of $360+. Comprising of set up fee $180+ and monthly fee of $60+. There wasn’t a physical sale contract, but they require me to go through a “welcome message n confirmation through tele-conversation”. The lady spoke in a broken English tone speaking with a script. Asking me some questions if I agree so on and so forth. I can hardly hear, and I asked them that all I know if the total amount I would pay is $360+ that’s all. She kept repeating and asking for my confirmation and the sales rep telling me not to worry all is correct. I was charged the total 3 months fee, at one go! 1 month later I was charged which I wasn’t aware. No credit card notification at all. 2 months later I was charged again, again no credit card notification. Finally, it was my accountant who spotted the charges and notified me. I called them. The guy Dean, said that my complaints will be investigated and a solution will be offered. 2 days later he called and said that I have vocally agreed to the charges as according to the voice recording. Nothing can be done Now i know, i am being duped! Scammed! Lost $1000+ Please be aware of such trickery.
