⭐ First Impressions: Songmont Medium Song Bag
So, I received my first Songmont yesterday – the Medium Song Bag in Chocolate – exactly seven days after placing the order (I'm based in the UK). I'd first come across the brand on social media about six months ago, and ever since I'd been adding this bag to my basket... then hesitating to check out. 😄 Then, a few weeks ago, I spotted a lady in my local M&S carrying the small Song bag. I actually stopped her to ask whether she was happy with it. Well... I'll tell you this: I haven't been this excited about a new handbag since I found a vintage Chanel in pristine condition during a trip to Japan. 😊 First of all, the packaging is outstanding. The presentation box, dust bag, papers - everything feels premium. Then there's the bag itself. The quality genuinely exceeded my expectations: the leather is beautiful, the stitching is flawless, the hardware feels substantial, and I even smiled when I noticed that the metal feet came with tiny silicone protectors! It's that level of attention to detail that really stands out. The value for money is exceptional and I'll definitely be buying more bags from this brand. I sincerely hope Songmont remains under Chinese ownership and continues to prioritise quality, craftsmanship and fair pricing. It's genuinely impressive to see how Chinese brands have evolved from being associated with manufacturing for others to creating distinctive, beautifully designed products that can compete on their own merits. Just one small suggestion: the removable inner pouch is also beautifully made, with lovely leather trim and finishing, but I wish the fabric were a little thicker so it would hold its shape better. Overall, I'm genuinely impressed. A very happy first-time Songmont customer.
