A3 PRO Kit – An Excellent Upgrade
Before purchasing the A3 PRO kit, I contacted technical support with several questions, and they always replied within 24–48 hours. The answers were sometimes a little brief, so I occasionally needed to ask for further clarification. It would be useful to have more detailed documentation on kit compatibility, including drawings and measurements. Once I placed the order, the kit arrived within a few days, with everything included as expected. I installed the kit on a 28-inch city bike. Installation requires some care, especially when routing the cables, as the cable paths vary depending on the bike being converted. There are also some very well-made YouTube videos that make the installation process easier. The explanatory diagrams in the manual describing how to operate the display would be clearer if they included a visual map identifying the different controls and elements shown on the display. Once everything was installed, the pedal assist worked beautifully. The riding experience feels extremely natural, and the motor engages very smoothly and progressively. On flat terrain, level 2 already provides plenty of assistance. The torque sensor integrated into the motor responds very quickly to how hard you are pedaling, and I think it is an excellent solution. I am very satisfied with the overall performance. The bottle-shaped battery also makes the motor system quite discreet and unobtrusive. I would appreciate the option of purchasing a higher-capacity battery for greater range, while still being fully compatible with the kit. Overall, an excellent purchase. I am very happy with the kit and would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone who is reasonably hands-on and has some basic mechanical skills and tools (wrenches, etc.) for the installation.
