PandaDoc

Overpriced, rigid billing, and zero flexibility

I've been in business long enough to know when a software company doesn't actually care about its customers, and PandaDoc is a perfect example. The billing structure is a nightmare. API credits are sold separately, on top of an already expensive subscription, with zero transparency about how fast you'll burn through them. I went over my API credit limit mid-month and rather than a heads-up or grace period, I just got cut off. No warning. No buffer. Just broken workflows. When I reached out to support asking for a partial refund, or even a credit toward the next month, I was told flat out that refunds are not offered under any circumstances. For a platform at this price point, that's genuinely insulting. You're paying premium SaaS prices for a company that treats you like a transaction, not a customer. The interface looks clean but the functionality underneath is fragile. Integrations break, the API documentation is spotty, and getting real help from support feels like pulling teeth. I switched to GoHighLevel (GHL) and I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. GHL handles document workflows, e-signatures, and automation all in one place, at a fraction of the cost. The UI is intuitive, the support is responsive, and it actually integrates seamlessly with my existing stack without nickel-and-diming me on API usage. PandaDoc might look polished in a demo, but in real-world use it's overpriced, inflexible, and the no-refund policy should be a dealbreaker for any business owner who values their money. Save yourself the headache and look at GHL first.

Spaceship.com

Finally a domain registrar that doesn't try to rip you offocess

I've used pretty much every major domain registrar out there and Spaceship.com is genuinely in a league of its own when it comes to pricing and user experience. The pricing is transparent and actually competitive. No bait-and-switch where the first year is cheap and renewal prices are three times higher. What you see is what you pay, and it's consistently some of the lowest pricing I've found across all the TLDs I regularly use for my business. The interface is clean and modern, which sounds like a small thing but matters a lot when you're managing a portfolio of domains. Everything is where you expect it to be. DNS management is straightforward, transfers are painless, and I've never had a domain go missing in limbo during a transfer the way I have with other registrars. Search is fast, bulk registration works well, and the checkout process doesn't bombard you with upsells and add-ons you didn't ask for. It's refreshing. Customer support has been solid every time I've needed them. Real responses, not copy-paste nonsense. If you're still using GoDaddy or Namecheap out of habit, do yourself a favor and check out Spaceship. You'll probably save money immediately and wonder why you didn't switch sooner. For anyone serious about managing domains without overpaying or fighting a bad UI, Spaceship.com is the move.
