Save yourself time! Don't use wondershare recoverit!
What a misleading app! The app appears to allow you to scan your drive, see if it was able to find files, and then purchase the license to recover the files. Hit "refresh authentication" and you are good to go! Nope! I ran the app for 36 hours recovering 15 TB of files on an 8TB drive (that in and of itself was suspicious. But I chalked it up to it possibly duplicating files for some reason). I clicked "recover" and then purchased the app license. I clicked "refresh authentication" and it said "refresh failed. please try again". So I did. Again and again. Nothing. So I contacted support. They said I would need to exit the app and reload it and then SCAN AGAIN. So I spent a day and a half babysitting this scan only to have to do it again because the app does not work the way it says it does. They refused to refund me even though the app's process is completely misleading. Save yourself a LOT of time and headache and just take your drive to a shop.
