Dresses for cardboard cut-outs, not women with curves
I ordered two identical dresses, one in my usual size, and one larger. The colour and design were very appealing on the website, and the items that arrived were of reasonable quality (though very crumpled). The problem was that they seem to be designed for a flat person! Yes, the measurements (width) are correct, but the design takes no account of the fact that women have SHAPE. I asked to return them, but instead the company offered that I could keep them (and give to someone as a gift) for a 1/2 price offer. That was not what I wanted, as I don't know ANYONE who doesn't have curves. After a few more emails prompting them, I did receive a full refund. But they didn't give me a return address to send the dresses back. That's just a weird business model - and doesn't live up to their sustainable credentials. I'm more than happy to make the effort to return them, but it's been well over a month now and no news from them, so I think I'll take them to my local Oxfam shop.
