Compensation for cancelled flight
My flight was originally delayed by 20 minutes and then an additional 2 hours while I was in the plane. Then it was cancelled at 1.20am. Pilot informed us that the flight will take place the next day at 4pm. Needles to say, frustration too over immediately. I contacted Compensair and told them this story. They took my case. Communication with them was a bit difficult as it took a day, sometimes two, to get a reply but I always got a reply. Eventually, after 2 weeks, after giving them all the necessary documents (ID card, flight info, drivers licence...etc.) I was eligible for 250 euro compensation and I got 175 euro. Thank you Compensair for your help. I would however advise Compensair to make clear what % they are taking from the overall sum. "We take a percentage from the sum" is not really informative!
