Be aware of automatic contract extensions
The tool itself is not my major concern, it didn't help me to recover my pictures, but it was worth a try. What nags me is the fact that renewal of a subscription is almost automatic. Wondershare claims to send you a notification 15 days before the end date. However when, for example, your spam filter stopped the email and you have not seen this notification, or goes unread as most emails you get are just more advertisements, you get rewarded with an automatic one year extension. When contacting the service desk there is no policy that recognizes that one full year extension is onerous and they do not offer a reasonable solution. Don’t get me wrong, I would pay something but not a full year. Such a policy is Money First, Customer Second. So now you know, be careful.
