Great Idea, Needs more focus on the actual product
Awesome to be able to share your vehicle when not in use, responsive customer service (thank you Randolf & Lai). Great app with so much potential to be a great utility platform. +Ve: • Responsive customer service • Great effort to make p2p rental service available • Generally usable app & interface • Timely payouts* Improvements: • Actual app - Lacking user friendly search functions for guests - Still laggy after >3 years of use. - Search algorithms are never accurate (vehicles published are at random and heavily controlled by DL team. It does not display "true" relevant results for the user. • Coverage & liabilities - Platform should cover for +/-20 minutes of vehicle usage outside of the rental timing as hosts/renters may be late due to personal reasons. -Significant liability is placed on hosts' vehicle despite insurance plans being marketed as comprehensively covered (this can be improved by added an optional 5% surcharge for the host to opt for better coverage on the vehicle.) • Payouts - Fuel Package: Hosts has to always manually inform customer service to reimburse a rental that had fuel package opted in by the guests. - Reports: A rental can be split into multiple payments due to promotions and so forth. (Platform has no way of tracking whether each line item has been paid for)
