Tried to order glasses but couldn’t
I have not ordered glasses from Wherelight, but I tried. They have a cool selection of unique frames, but I found the shopping experience somewhat frustrating. Their frames each have a PD range, but it’s not possible to filter frames by PD. I found several frames I’d like, but then realized that they were incompatible with my PD. It also is not at all clear what their prescription restrictions are which was really frustrating. I finally found a pair of frames that matched my PD and then as I was putting in my prescription I got a notification that they cannot do a high prism correction with my -9.50 sph correction. I don’t mind not being able to order from a site, I would rather be told no than to receive glasses that are poorly made. It’s just incredibly frustrating that the prescription limitations don’t appear to be posted anywhere that I could find, and I had to take the time to select frames and add them to my cart before being told that they cannot make my prescription.
