Nearly 20 years of respect destroyed by this subscription experience
**Title: Nearly 20 years of respect destroyed by this subscription experience** I have been a fan of Tony Robbins for close to 20 years and particularly supportive of his work over the past decade. My wife has purchased a considerable amount of his content, and I genuinely believed in the Tony Robbins brand and what it claimed to represent. That history makes this experience especially disappointing. For months, I repeatedly tried to cancel the Tony Robbins app, Tony AI app, Inner Circle membership, and Mastermind-related subscriptions. The cancellation options were hidden or buried so deeply that instructional videos were needed just to explain the process. Even after following the required steps and contacting the company repeatedly, my cancellation requests were not honored. I clearly explained that I was cash-poor, needed every service canceled immediately, and wanted the charges refunded. Instead of addressing those requests, I was repeatedly told how valuable the programs were. I continued receiving promotional emails and sales messages about coaching and additional services while the company ignored what I was plainly asking them to do: cancel everything and stop charging my card. The charges continued month after month despite my repeated cancellation attempts and emails. It was not until August 2026 that I finally received confirmation that the subscriptions had been canceled. By then, I had lost almost $600 on subscriptions I did not want and had repeatedly tried to cancel. When the company finally acted, it was only after another charge had been processed. I was then told to “enjoy the remainder of the membership,” even though I had made it abundantly clear that I did not want the membership and could not afford the continued charges. Making customers navigate hidden cancellation procedures, ignoring repeated cancellation requests, continuing to charge their cards, and responding with sales messages instead of meaningful assistance are practices I would expect from a disreputable subscription operation. I never expected them from the Tony Robbins organization. It now appears to me that the organization has become focused more on monetization than simply helping people. More “experts” are being brought into the Tony Robbins ecosystem, promoted through their association with him, and presented as Tony Robbins mentees. From a customer’s perspective, it feels like an expanding sales funnel built around Tony’s name and reputation. I cannot speak to the private financial arrangements behind these partnerships, but the constant programs, subscriptions, coaching offers, upsells, and promotions have created the impression that selling more has become the priority. In my opinion, the entire operation has spun out of control and no longer resembles the Tony Robbins brand I came to know and love. After nearly 20 years as a fan, this experience has completely changed how I view Tony Robbins and his organization. I can no longer listen to or watch the material without thinking about the nearly $600 lost through subscriptions I repeatedly tried—and was financially desperate—to cancel. Tony Robbins built his reputation around trust, accountability, personal empowerment, and taking control of your life. Attaching that reputation to apps, Inner Circle memberships, Mastermind programs, aggressive coaching sales funnels, and subscriptions that customers must fight to cancel is deeply disappointing. The saddest part is that after supporting and respecting Tony Robbins for so many years, I now do not even want to hear his name or think about the brand again. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that prospective customers examine every subscription term, document every cancellation attempt, save every email, and closely monitor their credit-card statements. I would also avoid using any credit card that I was not prepared to cancel immediately if the recurring charges continued.
