Outstanding customer servive…

Originally there were a couple problems and the supervisor i talked to was not willing to help correct these problems. A couple days later i received a call from another supervisor that heard about my problem/complaint. The first thing she did was apologize for what happened. Then she listened to the details and went over and beyond what i would have expected to correct the situation. I have been a customer of heartland America for over 15 years and normally any problems encountered are corrected immediately without having to talk to a supervisor.

I placed an order and one item was out…

I placed an order and one item was out stock. I received a refund check about 15 days later. I deposited it into my checking account. The check bounced which caused a problem in my account. I called and talked to Kathy. She said all the checks written after July 1st eere written wrong. She said I'll get a letter and a new check 8-10 days from now. This doesn't sound like a world class operation. The $28 refund cost me $60 in return check charges. I also mentioned to her that one of the items was defective and I would like to return it. She said they don't accept returns on anything that has been opened. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she was the supervisor. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she's the highest one. Not much of a product guarantee . She was silent 95% of the call. I told her i would never buy from Heartland America again and to remove my name from the mailing list. She said OK. I have never seen a company with this type of attitude in my entire life.
