Premium apparently doesn’t mean ad-free anymore
I pay for Spotify Premium specifically to get an ad-free listening experience, yet I’m now being subjected to unskippable advertisements. I understand that podcasts can contain sponsorships from the creators themselves, but if Spotify is putting advertisements in front of paying Premium subscribers, that completely undermines one of the main reasons people pay for Premium in the first place. If Spotify wants to change what Premium includes, it should be made extremely clear to customers. Paying for a supposedly ad-free service only to encounter unskippable adverts feels misleading. Very disappointing from a service I’ve paid for for years.
