It worked!
What can I say, it worked! After 'losing' just over half a million images (my last 10 years work) on a Lacie hard drive that just went kaput, I went straight to a computer expert who spent four days recovering the data with 'specialist' software. When I got it back, I found the images had been saved to one folder without file names, or meta data etc. Half a million pictures mixed together without any reference to sort them! So out of desperation, I went online and found the iBoy thing, signed up and ran it. Much to my amazement, delight and relief it has recovered the entire catalogue of images, with file names and all sorted into their original folders!
