I got the software for transferring files from and to a backup drive and for downloading photos from my android phone.
Though the drive keeps reading ok, the phone stopped being recognized by the software.
I've contacted support many times but they haven't been able to help me.

Thanks for your feedback. We don't have the software which supports android phone, please transfer files from the drive to your computer and then transfter files from your computer to your android phone.
This is a great app, and would not be without it, mount and read/write NFTS partitions is a must for me. There is also other features like format etc. I have this on every Mac machines that i have.
I had tried another software to help me mount a bitlockered drive on my Mac, with no luck. IboySoft worked right out of the gate. No fuss, no muss. Couldn't be easier. top notch.

My mac dont recognize my disc ssd lexar, but installed the iboysoft data recovery and like a miracle the disk appears in the interface of the program. Quickly appears each file and organize in types to recovery.
It save a lot of pics of many people that i cant see now. Im happy to keep this memories again when i want it. The program recoverd a lot of files from the disk damaged
Tried to open app on my macbook pro running latest OS. Kept telling me to grant Full Disk Access. I did and I checked several times but no luck app will not open, Just keeps asking me to Grant Full Disk Access

I had a drive failure on a Crucial X9 Pro SSD – I could see it in disk utility but the drive wouldn't mount.
Downloaded iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac, and was initally skeptical. However it was super inuitive to use and managed to find all the data on the drive straight away. Kinda magic!

Creating a bootable USB drive aborts; it downloads but doesn't install on the selected USB stick.
For the limited functionality, the software is far too expensive, especially with the subscription.
Clone works quite well.
I will probably cancel the subscription or the purchase.

UPDATE 30/03/2026: the software worked well on the first day. Now it's impossible to access my external disk even if everything seems to work fine. I will try to access it from a Windows laptop, hoping to still find the data there.
The software works well. The website allures you with a "download it for free" phrase, but that's all you can do, download it, not use it. So I decided to go for a paid version, 17.95 USD for 12 months subscription, but I paid in Euros...and it magically translated into 17.95 Euros, which is not even close to 17.95 USD. I find these tricks pretty annoying.

In the middle of transfering to another WD storage. I have bought mainly 5 TB, and many 20, 22, TB. The system has upset me so many times, go for 2 hours, and then it simply stops, shuts down.
