Moving my catalog from DistroKid to Ditto, and finally to Too Lost, has been a massive learning curve. Initially, I panicked when my uploads hit a "Need Docs" status. I was spamming support until I took a breath, read the requirements, and realized they just wanted proof of 100% ownership. Because my team is spread out, I drafted a professional production and copyright agreement and had everyone sign it digitally. Not only did this look more legitimate, but it also solved the bottleneck instantly. Once I submitted those docs, the "stuck" songs were delivered immediately. Now, I simply attach that agreement to every release, and it’s been smooth like butter. This experience taught me to truly respect and protect my work rather than just "uploading and praying." Too Lost might be the new kid on the block, but they are miles ahead of the competition—they even pitched my latest track to Spotify. If you're stuck on "Need Docs," don't get frustrated; just get your paperwork (licenses and agreements) in order. It makes all the difference.
