Bass Pro Shop and Plano 7771 tackle box
First I am an avid fisherman/person and Bass Pro Shop is one of my favorite stores. So this is a hard review to write. I purchase a Plano 7771 tackle box less than a year ago. Recently, I noticed that the top (plastic cover) started to warp. Now it won't close at all and this makes the top shelf unusable because everything in the top will fall out when accessing the shelf below. I thought no problem I'll go to Bass Pro Shop and they will stand behind there items that they sell. Nope, I was told that there is a 60 day return policy (by Plano) and that Bass Pro Shop would do nothing in either return or replace. The cost of the tackle box was approximately $100. The salesperson said that she understood that there should be some compensation but not from BPS. Can someone explain to me why a tackle box, that spends days in the sun should warp. BTW I’m talking about the store in Brandon Fl.
