First provider awesome, second one awful. Issues still not resolved after a week.

I saw a doctor on July 1 and she agreed to send two medication‘s. I had been on for a few years over to Publix, because they don’t work with CVS which was my normal pharmacy. There was an issue with the medication‘s not being received and when I called, they resolved it but only one medication was sent to Publix. I called multiple times and would receive text messages from various numbers saying they were working on the issue, but it took six days to resolve. Finally, a nice agent named Hareem reached out to me this afternoon and said they were gonna schedule a new appointment with a different provider because they were unable to get a response from the first practitioner I saw. She was very nice and the Support staff on the phone was always polite, but I’m giving four stars simply because it took so long to resolve the issue. I did not like the fact that text messages were sometimes answered by a human, but mostly answered by AI because I had to use words to try to flag an agent, and it would only respond once or twice a day. I sure hope these corporations realize that nobody wants to talk to a robot and you cannot replace people in a healthcare setting because it is too easy for AI to make mistakes. Peoples lives are on the line and we should be hiring more staff in the medical field, not less. Nurses and practitioners are already overworked. Other than that, everything was fairly simple and price is reasonable. I was able to get both of my medication’s approved and aside from this issue with one of them not being received and also them not being able to contact my provider… I would say overall, it would have been a good experience… they had to eventually get supervisors involved and they offered to have me meet with another provider free of charge, which is a relief because I was already trying to figure out if I should go to the ER with no insurance or find another online provider. Both options seemed like a big pain in the a** and additional cost I didn’t want to incur. Aside from the long, wait time for a resolution, I would recommend this clinic. Just don’t have your medication sent over to a CVS! I actually really liked the first provider and I believe it would’ve not taken so long had this not transpired over Fourth of July weekend. Thanks again to Hareem for being so kind and understanding during our call today. Update: I met with a new nurse practitioner who didn’t want to write my second medication because they were both controlled substances… Even though my last three doctors, psychiatrist, and nurse practitioner through Medvidi had zero problems with my medication and I’ve been on it without an increased dosage for YEARS. Then the second practitioner started grilling me, asking me if I smoked marijuana or took Kratom?! I was like, lady, I’m 40 years old. I own my own house and work in an executive level role at my previous job… I am in between health insurance and jobs at the moment, which is why I went with this clinic.- But I did not appreciate the implication/judgement. Thankfully, she agreed to send over 10 days of a “reduced dose” of my medicine to the pharmacy, and then hung up on me before I even said goodbye or thanked her… so I called MEDVIDI back explain what happened. They apologized and rescheduled my appointment with the original first practitioner, who was incredibly nice and willing to work with me and Phil the medication’s. I’ve been on for at least three years with no issues… So, buyer beware. Some practitioners are awesome and respect your medical history, and what works with your body …and others are going to act like they know better than the patient, an actual psychiatrist, my last 2-3 Medical Doctors, and the Nurse practitioner that I met with, last week. So now I have a third telehealth appointment in two weeks just to get the same medication that I’ve been on for years, that was supposed to be sent over on July 1 without any issues. I highly recommend you read the reviews of the practitioner that you select… I didn’t pick this one out, but if I had met with her at the first appointment, this would be a one star review. Sorry, MEDVIDI, but after that horrible nurse practitioner, I had to remove a star… I know it’s not your fault, but I did not like that provider at all. I would’ve hoped that after a week of calling and having issues you guys could’ve spoken to the provider and let them know what was going on so I didn’t have to go through this… You guys scheduled a new appointment so I could get this medication that was already supposed to be prescribed to me without even making sure the doctor would write it… I have a headache over this experience. No wonder she had open appointments so quickly available… I can’t imagine people returned to her very often.
