Not worth the price
As a financial professional with a CFA charter, I was disappointed in what Seeking Alpha had to offer. Really just a platform for retail investors to speculate rather than anything of value. Research is largely groupthink on meme stocks or strong momentum stocks where contradictory opinions are furiously attacked. There is no discussion to be had as every stock represents some entrenched emotional opinion. The quant metrics are interesting on the surface, but does not actually provide much value as the "A+" rated stocks are typically after its run up 20-50% (or more) and not when you should be initiating on positions. Obviously a highly cyclical stock will show strong earnings momentum and a "low P/E" at the peak of their earnings cycle. That is when smart money is moving away, not going in. Absolutely not worth the hundreds of dollars, you can find much better material subscribing to a reputable Substack.
