Great products, abysmal customer service
I'm a big fan of Creative's products since I bought a Zen music player in 2007. Great quality at a bargain price. However, I've always purchased their products from retailers, rather than directly from the company. When I made a recent purchase from their website, it all went south. Order and delivery went fine, but one of the speakers was defective. I had to spend a few hours on a chat with an AI (or just a very untrained human) to get them to agree to replace the defective product....and nearly a week later they haven't started the replacement process. When I threatened to dispute the charge if they didn't get their act together, their chatbot agreed it would be a good idea. I still recommend their products for quality and value - but for your own sanity, purchase them from a third party. They just don't do customer service well.
