I'm a big fan of Creative's products since I bought a Zen music player in 2007. Great quality at a bargain price.
However, I've always purchased their products from retailers, rather than directly from the company. When I made a recent purchase from their website, it all went south.
Order and delivery went fine, but one of the speakers was defective. I had to spend a few hours on a chat with an AI (or just a very untrained human) to get them to agree to replace the defective product....and nearly a week later they haven't started the replacement process. When I threatened to dispute the charge if they didn't get their act together, their chatbot agreed it would be a good idea.
I still recommend their products for quality and value - but for your own sanity, purchase them from a third party. They just don't do customer service well.
I bought a Creative Wrath Wireless Headset.
Got it around 2011 for 100$ after several Logitech wireless bit the dust in 6-12months. 40$~ each.
This headset, which i dropped more than once and charged irregularly, STILL WORKS GREAT!
I replaced the muffs once for 5$ from AliExpress and it still lasts 4-5hrs (originally 6~8?). Either way. Not complaining. 15 years! You can even swap the mic (detachable!). The only thing that might be hard to swap is the battery or it would last another 15+ (and possible outlive me.
THAT is awesome!
I also have speakers, pretty much the same story, and they made me realise what kind of tin cans I used before. (Medion).
The last thing I have from them is onboard sound (PC) and that also never went wrong.
Honestly, the only complaint i have is with OTHER producers, since the bar was set pretty high after that.
THE ONLY reason I consider a new one (after 15y) is noise-cancelling. My earpods sold me on that, and this one does not have it.

I bought a pair of the Creative Bubble speakers (not the 'Plus' ones) and which are eight-watts output, inclusive of the separate subwoofer, and they performed excellently and looked really splendid; I didn't keep them, though, because that amount of power is not quite at the level I would wish the sound to go to and yet not bad for PC-speakers. I'd like to hear the volume doubled or tripled even and which would fill the gap in the market between PC-speakers and entry-level studio-speakers and which are also under one-hundred pounds. While you do get a lot of product for the money and as said the speakers perform well, louder than normal PC-speakers, they are at a jump-off design and volume where it is as if the company has developed speakers meant to be categorised as a higher tier of equipment more along the lines of bookshelf-speakers and they do achieve the look but are just not quite to an associated volume. This is why I gave only four stars.
They are a communicative business as well and I tend to think that as a whole they are going to go from strength to strength.
I have not use Creative products before.
What I understood is Creative was once the pride of our Technology sector. Their sound cards was the pioneer in that sector.
How about those quiet happy users?
I had a fantastic experience with Creative. I had bought one of their blue-tooth dongles for online gaming & low latency audio around 5 years ago.
But I lost the USB C-to-A Converter making it useless for anything but USB C consoles. I tried a number of fairly expensive adapters all with glowing reviews but none worked.
So I got in touch with them and Elaine from Creative Labs Pte Ltd, Worldwide Customer Response offered to to see if they could send me a replacement.
Not only did they send me a replacement free of charge but they sent it first class tracked. You really could not ask for a better experience in this day & age of poor customer experiences.
I'm not quite sure why a lot of others here seem to have had a negative experiences but I'd definitely purchase from them again. They fixed essentially something that was my fault over 4 years out of warranty.
Update: After somebody else “reviewing” my case, creative refuse to acknowledge any fault and say it is normal for these speakers to make a constant whistle noise. Won’t be purchasing anything from creative again.
Awful after sales support. My Katana V2 makes a constant hiss and whistle noise which isn’t normal for any speaker so I contacted creative thinking they would be able to help. After me sending them a video of this issue, they responded and that there is no issue with the speaker and that this is the “noise floor” of the speaker.
What’s the point of a warranty if the customer points out an issue and you refuse to accept that it is an issue. This is massively disappointing as the speaker itself is great apart from this constant noise it emits, if creative would fix this issue then I would be happy with my purchase, the customer service/after sales support is awful.
Definitely would not buy from them again!

I purchased a Sound blaster X G6 direct and this morning I received what I can only describe as a damaged, dirty, very unlooked after customer return.
It's filthy, the box is marked, the item is covered in surface marks, damage to the top of the item and damage to the front IO.
I contacted them via their web chat to find out what on earth is going on and I was told I would have to wait for the results of their investigation ???
There is nothing to investigate, they sent me a damaged customer return !!!!!
Send me a replacement !!!
No one even mentioned a prompt collection and exchange. Very bad and disgusting customer service.
After I supplied them with serial numbers, method of delivery, and detailed images of the box, and the item in question.
I purchased a Creative Soundblaster X4, read the reviews and thought yep that's for me. I use with my PC and a Creative T7900 7.1 speaker system. The purchase process was easy, I bought direct from Creative at a £30 saving over other retailers. I received the X4 very quickly, I plugged in to my PC running Windows 11, X670e Chipset and loaded the drivers, all going well at this stage. The PC restarted which was when the problems started. The windows startup wave was jittery, thought nothing of it until I tried to play some music on Youtube, both video and music jittery. I went to control panel and unloaded the drivers then reinstalled, this resolved the problem, or so I thought. I set up all the speakers and had a rumage around the software, I have to say I was well impressed. The sound when coupled up is AMAZING. I then turned off my PC and went to bed. I restarted the PC a couple of days later and was greeted with same issue once again. I contacted Creative Support who were very helpful, they sent a tool to run diagnostics that I sent back to them, after about 5 days or so they came back to me to tell me they were investigating the issue and would come back to me, which they did a couple of days afterward. The reason for the issue appears to be compatibility and no further troubleshooting would provide a solution. I have to say this is very disappointing for a new soundcard that is supposed to be compatible with Windows 11, although to be fair I don't know what the compatibility issue between my PC and the X4 actually is as Creative have not advised. Creative have offered another item, alternative replacement, however nothing else in their website offers what I want. I don't really want a refund, I just want it to work. This is only my opinion, you may have your own.
I purchased 2.0 speakers "Pebble" for my computer in August 2020. After a year and two months, an annoying, steady squeak comes out of the speakers. Of course, they have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. I will never buy anything related to this company again. I do not recommend anyone. Choose any other company but not this one.
I've had a faulty soundcard (AE7) for a month now and arranging a return is impossible - they just don't want to help. I've tried every step in trying to resolve the technical issue but I know faulty hardware when I hear/see it. I would seriously consider buying elsewhere as the support is zero. I have now had to bring Paypal in to help me despite Creative having a 30 day returns policy.
Avoid !! refusing to honour their so called 2 year Warranty. Everytime speak to support they try new ways to avoid admitting the item is faulty.
And then they start All over again from basic turn off and on Again !!
They treat their customers like fouls and refuse to be honest and transparent
I can honestly say that this lab sorted out my warranty product which goes down. Very promptly with replacing for new one. I even decided bro go fo different product and than suddenly had to change my mind and they still accepted that too. I really recommend creative for everyone i know! Great company with great customer service! Thank you.
I bought creative speakers for my desktop computer over 10 years ago and still, they are in excellent condition and sound so good. today I purchased the Creative Labs Muvo Play portable Bluetooth speaker and it is fantastic. The sound quality is amazing and so clear and loud. For the size of the speaker, it's excellent sound both indoor and outdoor. It has a good range. The speaker has everything, Bluetooth 5, USB type C, auxiliary port. You can't go wrong with this product. I'm really very impressed with the quality of the build and the quality of sound. Very pleased with my purchase.
Awful, useless company
Ordered a speaker on 2nd expecting it to arrive between 5th and 8th. Hasn't left their warehouse yet and this is the 8th. Terrible and useless responses twice to my emails saying we will ask the order team what's happening. Must be on holiday or don't exist. Do not buy from this woeful excuse of a company, should have bought from Amazon. Lesson learned.

Bought the AE-5 Plus sound card from them directly. E-mails updating me on the status of my order from order received to dispatched with a working tracking number. Ordered Wednesday night, arrived Friday morning.
Cant fault the Sound card either very happy with it.

Great company, products are highly reliable and good quality. I still have Bluetooth speaker D100 that works flawlessly over several years and i have just brought some Outlierairs that work great. This company is highly underrated.
