beware tourists - prepaid SIM - do not buy
I bought a prepaid 1 month SIM card from the convenience store but wanted to extend it as my business trip was extended. I called Customer Service and was advised If I just top up before midnight the number would still be active and I could continue after the 1 month period. I topped up 16SGD and then they cut me off at midnight anyway. Pure criminal activities. Took the money and disconnected me anyway. The first time I called up I was given a number to call for my particular type of inquiry. I called the number the person gave me and....doesn't exist. Not even connected, I'm sure they thought that was funny. I honestly cannot believe how unashamedly crooked and corrupt that company is or how they have any customers at all. They really are the worst advertisement for Singapore.
