Very disappointing and misleading…
Very disappointing and misleading experience. I booked this 6.5-hour excursion because the website’s written description and photographs advertised swimming at Rhenia Island and lunch. However, our actual excursion ran only from approximately 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and neither the advertised swimming experience nor lunch was provided. Instead, we were dropped off for a Delos tour and had to pay an additional €100 for entrance tickets, despite already having paid for the excursion. The experience we received was substantially different from the one advertised and was not what I agreed to purchase. When I complained, the company refused to accept proper responsibility or provide a satisfactory resolution. Customers should be able to rely on the photographs, itinerary and inclusions displayed on a company’s booking page. Had I known that there would be no swimming, no lunch and extra costs, I would never have booked this tour. I cannot recommend Shore Excursions Group based on this experience. Please carefully confirm every advertised inclusion in writing before booking.
