Classes move fast enough to keep you engaged, but not so fast that you get lost. I also liked how practical everything is. You're not just memorizing vocabulary, you're actually learning how to speak and function in real-life situations from day one. The teachers are excellent. They're patient, encouraging, and very good at explaining things clearly (even when the grammar gets tricky). I definitely recommend That’s Mandarin Shanghai.
