expected arrival dates are meaningless
Thought I found a company that actually had a local presence so would make ordering a US made item straightforward, but after signing up for instock notifications I heard nothing for a month and a half. I contacted support to ask about this and was told that I should make the order instead and that would initiate the ordering process from the manufacturer. The expected arrival date keeps on slipping and no updates are communicated. Then to top it off I am sent a ridiculous "offer" for a warranty that costs 10x the cost of the actual item when the terms explicitly state that my email would not be shared with 3rd parties. At what point do I just apply for a chargeback with my bank and turn to ebay...
