Misleading 'shipped' emails, contradictory tracking, and support that only copy-pastes
Nearly $1,800 for a litter box and accessories, and the one thing Whisker has reliably delivered is misinformation. I got a "shipped" confirmation on July 2. Except nothing shipped. Canpar showed "label created," and their own freight tracking (Expeditors) still reads "On Hold, Pending Information" - received, never departed. A label is not a shipment. Telling a customer their order shipped when it's sitting on hold at your warehouse isn't a status update, it's a fib with a tracking number attached. It gets better. Buried in one reply was the line that "the rest of your items are still being prepared for shipment"... so the order is quietly being split into multiple shipments, which was never made clear. So not only did the main unit not ship, half the bundle hasn't even been packed. When I asked for a straight answer, I got two replies that were copy-pasted overviews of their Canada shipping process - not one actual answer to "where is my order and when will it arrive." The second even claimed the unit had "left the warehouse and been picked up," which directly contradicts their own freight page saying it's on hold. Pick a story. What they don't advertise: "ships in 1–3 days" only means it leaves the building. It then rides a bulk US-to-Canada freight consolidation, gets handed to a second carrier, and realistically takes weeks. Ships from the US, not a Canadian warehouse, and none of that is disclosed up front. I've had appliances arrive from Germany faster. The machine may well be great. I wouldn't know - it hasn't arrived, any part of it. But the buying experience has been misleading emails, contradictory tracking, a silently split order, and lazy support that fasley reassures instead of informs. For this price, be honest with people.
