I have been a loyal customer for years, originally signing up with a local, family-owned lawn service. Since TruGreen acquired them, the quality of communication and service has plummeted. I called today because I noticed bugs eating my lawn, only to be told by their Norcross call center that my plan does not include insect control—despite me paying for service specifically for that purpose with the original company. Basically they bought out the company changed me to "THEIR" new plan without talking with me. It is disheartening to realize I’ve been paying for a service I wasn't actually receiving. To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with a manager or franchise owner to resolve this, I was told it was impossible and that only the call center handles customer concerns. This level of bureaucracy is exactly what is wrong with the consolidation of small, local businesses. I am looking for a new service provider immediately.
