Up to now Petbacker has not solved my issue. They did not even tried to negotiate, they keep asking to wait. My dog bite on the sitter’s furniture, we already offered to pay directly with the sitter but we want at least the non used amount back.
My dog was left with an unprepared sitter. My dog was upset and bite a small part of her door because she left the home and left my dog alone. Her profile said “your dog will not be left unattended”. I was traveling and stopped everything to help the sitter to remove my dog from her home because I understand the inconvenience of having a dog biting your door. I found another sitter from another platform but the Petbacker sitter refused to bring my dog to the new place. I do not know if my dog was mistreated, I have not received any refund because my dog stayed only 24 hours with petbacker sitter and the sitter was angry and decided not to send any pictures about my dog. Petbacker is not solving my issue. They reply was “we have no evidence your dog was mistreated”. Of course they have no evidence if they talked to the sitter. They have not given me any refund (booked 11 days and used 1 only) and they have not talked to the sitter about not sending me any updates for 24 hours. Please do not book any service. Petbacker does NO SCREENING AT ALL to the people who they accept to take care of your pet. My pet was frustrated and distressed with the sitter and was mistreated by the girl in Porto who was with her. I will make sure NO ONE will book with petbacker and won’t stop posting about it. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET with a company that allows anyone to be with your precious family member
