When I had initially looked to purchase from Ask and Embla I signed up for their newsletter and this granted me a discount code for 15% off, I decided to use it on my first order. Unfortunately after buying a necklace and a charm to go with it I decided the style just didn't look right on me and wanted to start the process of a return. Upon emailing customer service, I was told that I had purchased a SALE item and one regular item. Both items purchased separately and the discount used on the pricier item. After communicating with them for a little over a week I was already very annoyed with the options given, either an exchange of the items or a gift card for the price value. I returned the items in their original condition within 14 days of purchases delivery as stated on their website and both items are within their stated eligible for refunds. As a student who wanted a pick-me-up me up after completing their winter finals, I'm left with more of a headache from this whole procedure.
