I purchased two diamonds from Luvansh…
I purchased two diamonds from Luvansh on July 28th, totaling approximately 5,000 dollars, intending to have my jeweler evaluate both and return the one that did not work for my ring setting. Nowhere on the product pages or in the shipment did I see a clearly stated seven day return window. When I contacted Luvansh to process the return, I was told for the first time that they have a seven day return policy, and was directed to a buried policy page rather than anything disclosed at the point of sale or in the package. They refused to make any exception despite this being a common and reasonable use case for anyone shopping for a diamond to set into a ring. As a business owner myself, I found this lack of transparency and unwillingness to work with a customer to be a serious red flag. I would urge others to read the fine print carefully before buying, and to know that final sale terms may not be clearly disclosed until after your money has already been spent. Also, I have subsequently learned that their BBB rating is an “F”. Not surprised, and if I would have known that, I would have shopped elsewhere. Reply to your response You have also not addressed the operational reality of this transaction. Evaluating a diamond against a specific ring setting before committing to it is a routine, foreseeable use case in this category. Accepting the unused stone back in its original condition would have cost you nothing. Declining to do so was a discretionary choice, not a policy obligation. Combined with the F rating currently on file with the Better Business Bureau, this exchange is consistent with a pattern rather than an isolated incident. I am recording this response for my own documentation and would encourage anyone considering a purchase with Luvansh to give more reputable dealers your money.
