I booked a room at Arts Hotel Bosphorus in Istanbul through Traveluro for May 3–8, 2025. The photos and description on the site showed modern, spacious rooms in the main hotel building — at no point was it mentioned that the booking was for an economy room in an annex building. Upon arrival, we were shocked to be placed in a separate annex with a very small bed, and were given a broken baby cot. The hotel confirmed that rooms booked via Traveluro are “budget” rooms in the annex, but this was not indicated anywhere during booking. We asked to change rooms, but were told it was impossible. To get a room matching the photos on Traveluro, we had to pay for an upgrade on site. I have contacted Traveluro multiple times and received no response. Their customer service is completely unresponsive. I am now requesting a partial refund for false advertising and poor service. This was a misleading booking and I will be filing complaints with consumer protection services and my bank for a chargeback due to non-conformity. I urge Traveluro to respond and take responsibility for this situation.
