I’m an old guy
I’m an old guy who got interested in Chinese writing many decades ago. I was trying to learn Chinese but I could never learn to speak or listen. I loved writing characters so I continued but hit the brick wall at around 1500. I started with this program and I love it!!! It’s a most amazing way to learn more characters. The focus on pronunciation is also amazing. I started the Pronunciation Master program after hearing Luke mention that focusing on producing correct pronunciation is a huge aid in correctly hearing the spoken Chinese. He’s right! As a side note the memory palace has let me reach back into some very intense periods of my life. I’m Christian and this process of reviewing my life events has helped me come to terms with a very long journey. It’s kinda cool! Thank you Phil and Luke!
