For a while, I felt I was going around in circles since the information requested by Termly to guide me through the change in ownership was not available to me since the prior owner had left the firm and he had used his personal email address on the account. But once my conundrum became crystal clear and I was able to identify myself to the support team, the solution was straightforward and took minutes.
